We will register your basic information, general theme of your need, language, and available time.
Step 2
We will follow up your case by phone to arrange the first appointment, explain our pricing & match you with the most suitable counselor.
Step 3
Our counseling fee is based on a sliding fee scale. We will collect your family income proof such as bank statements, tax documents, salary slips, etc if you request a special subsidy rate.
Step 4
The appointment will be confirmed by email. Before the first session, please fill in the client information form online to let your counselor know more about you.

Privacy & Confidentiality

All enquiries and counseling sessions are private and confidential. During supervision, identities of the clients are not revealed. Only in exceptional circumstances would confidentiality be broken. The exceptional circumstances would be if :

  • There is a clear and immediate danger to an individual or to society
  • There is a legal compulsion to make the disclosure and a failure or refusal to comply will constitute a criminal offense or contempt of court.

Your counselor will explain to you in detail on your first counseling session.

FAQs

1. What is your cancellation policy?

Since the scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time set aside especially for you, a minimum of 1 working day notice* is required for rescheduling or cancellation of an appointment. If for any reason a session is canceled less than 1 working day prior, the full fee will be charged. The only exception to this cancellation policy is in the event of a serious or contagious illness or emergency. This concession is subject to your counselor’s approval. You may be asked to provide proof of the reason for the cancellation.

* This means that if an appointment is scheduled for 3:00 pm on a Tuesday, notice must be given by 3:00 pm on Monday at the latest. If Monday is a public holiday, you need to cancel by 3:00pm Friday.

2. What if I am late for an appointment?

If you are more than 20 minutes late to your appointment time without noticing us, it will be treated like a no-show.

3. Can I reschedule?

Clients can reschedule an appointment at most 2 times, if you provide at least 1 working day’s notice.

4. Can I change my counselors?

It is important that you’re supported by a counselor that is right for you. We recognize that occasionally a client may not feel a strong connection or find the best fit with their initially assigned counselor. In such cases, we encourage our clients to have an open and honest discussion with their counselor about their concerns. Our counselors are trained to approach these conversations with empathy and a genuine desire to understand the client’s perspective.

If, after this discussion, the client still does not feel the counselor-client relationship is working optimally, the client may request a change in counselor. We allow clients to change counselors up to two times within a year.

5. How many sessions do I need?

The number of counseling sessions you receive will depend on your individual needs and goals. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, as the recommended number of sessions can vary greatly depending on the complexity of your concerns, the progress you are making, and your personal preferences.

Your counselor will provide their professional recommendation based on an assessment of your situation, but ultimately the decision on the number of sessions is up to you. Many clients find 6-12 sessions to be an appropriate starting point, but some may benefit from more or less depending on the circumstances.

6. How often will I have my sessions?

The frequency of your counseling sessions is also customizable based on your needs and availability. Your counselor will discuss session frequency with you and provide their expert guidance. However, the final decision on how often you meet is up to you. Your counselor will be flexible in accommodating your preferences as much as possible.

7. When and how do I pay for my session?

You will need to settle the payment 1 working day in advance. Please be aware that failure to pay would lead to appointment cancellation.

8. What is your opening hour?

We understand that everyone has different schedules and availability, so we strive to accommodate our clients as much as possible. While our reception desk is open from 9am to 6pm on weekdays, our counselors continue to see clients well into the evenings on those days. We also offer weekend appointment availability, with select counselors available to meet with clients on Saturdays and Sundays as needed.

Reception Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm

Counseling Session Hours:

  • Weekdays: Counselors see clients from 9:00am to late evening hours
  • Weekends: Select counselors are available for appointments
